Electronic Waste Treatment Technology
Basic treatment scheme
Electronic waste contains many harmful and toxic substances. The basic treatment scheme includes applying environmentally friendly processing technology, lowering investment and recycling and reuse useful material. The key is to effectively recirculate and utilized the useful materials, and the goal is to achieve harmlessness, re-sourcing, low resource consumption, low emission and high efficiency.
Process design
Designing an optimized treatment process is the technical foundation for lowering operating cost, improving productivity and reducing resource consumption. According to the properties of electronic waste, reasonable combinations of manual and mechanical dismantling process are explored to make the treatment process meet environmental standards, easy to operate, economically viable and technically sound.
Certain substances can be recycled from electronic waste based on criterions such as its content in the waste, the economic value, recycling technology, cost and toxicity etc. Different processes are selected for different substances according to their individual or common properties.
